SMAS accepts plants and pots/containers. However, SMAS no longer accepts chemicals such as synthetic fertilizers or pest insecticides. SMAS has been using organic materials for a few years. You can take to these items to the San Mateo County Toxic Waste Drop Off, 32 Tower Road. You must have an appointment. They are open Thursday, Friday, Saturday only.
